Lithance

Terms

These are the terms for using Lithance. Lithance is built and operated by its founder, Avinash Kumar, in India. Write to avinash@lithance.app with any question.

What Lithance does

Lithance drafts printed circuit boards from a written brief and attaches a gate report that says which checks passed, which failed and which were not measured. It is a design tool, not a sign-off.

You are the engineer of record

Review every design before you fabricate, assemble or power it. Lithance makes no promise that a design is fit for a particular purpose, safe, or free of errors, and is not liable for the cost of boards, parts or damage arising from a design you choose to build.

Your designs

Your briefs and the files produced from them are yours. You give Lithance the permission it needs to process them in order to run your jobs.

Accounts and payment

Keep your sign-in secure and use the service lawfully. Paid credits are billed through our payment processor at the prices shown when you buy them.

Changes

These terms may change as the product does. The date below says when they last did.

Lithance

Lithance is an instrument, not a genie: it drafts the board and hands you the measurements to check it by, so the signature stays yours.

Founded and built by Avinash Kumar. avinash@lithance.app

Named for photolithography — the process that made the integrated circuit possible.

A run that produced a verdict table ships it attached to the board. A run that did not says so, in copper.
